Howard Travis Calton, age 80, went home to be with our Lord and Savior on June 20, 2010. Howard Travis serviced in the U.S. Navy for 2 years. He was employed by the Birmingham Police Department for 33 years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Annie M and William C. Calton, Sr.; two brothers, William C., Jr. and Lee Thomas Calton. Howard is survived by his wife, Lola C. Calton; nephews, Lee Calton of Birmingham, Mike Calton of Opelika, and Thomas Calton of Tampa, FL; niece, Patsy A. Brown of Maudlin, SC; with several great nieces and nephews.
