He was born March 24, 1939 in Coweta County to the late Othel & Annie Ruth Carden Lassetter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Rebecca Lynn McClain Lassetter, sister Frances Duncan & her husband Roy, and brother, Jack Lassetter.
