Homer Charles Fletcher of Sheridan, Arkansas was born August 25, 1958 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the son of Betty Jean Lockhart Fletcher and the late Ralph Charles “Sonny” Fletcher. He was saved by the grace of God and read his bible daily. He had 3 jobs in his life, J.A. Rogers Excavating, Fletcher Backhoe and Dozer Service and Grant County Road Department where he was presently working as a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed hunting, working and spending time with his family and friends.
Homer went to be with his Lord on Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas at the age of 61.
He was preceded in death by his father, Sonny Fletcher.
Survivors: wife and best friend of 43 years, Irene Johnson Fletcher of Sheridan; daughter, Ashley Amanda Fletcher (David) Hennessee of Hot Springs; mother, Betty Fletcher of Sheridan; sister, Brenda Jean Fletcher McCoy of Cypress, Texas; granddaughter, Ember Hennessee; his dog, Mollie and his grand dog, Fletcher Man and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, co-workers and friends.
