Hiroko “Penny” Cameron, age 77 of Newnan, passed away on Wednesday, July 9, 2008. She was born to the late Tokube and Yao (Takashita) Dote. Mrs. Cameron was a native of Japan, where she met the love of her life, Ivan Cameron while he was serving in the Marines while stationed in Japan. They were married and had their first daughter Cheril while in Japan.
They then moved to the United States and lived in Delaware for many years. She was not only a mother to her daughters but also a dear friend who will be dearly missed. She is survived by her daughters, Cheril O’Brien and Peggy Rusich both of Newnan. And Son in Laws, Larry O’Brien and Clinton Rusich. Grandchildren, Alan Corbette Jackson, Cameron Jackson, Nicholas O’Brien, Alexis O’Brien and Breaux Rusich. Sister, Kikumi Heinbaugh of Portersville, California.
