Hilda Elizabeth Ward Blue was born on November 10, 1925, in Lakewood, Florida, to Minnie Cook Ward and William Edward Ward, died February 11, 2014.  She attended Paxton High School and Troy State College for Women.  She was pre-deceased by her parents and her brothers, William Edward Ward, Jr,. and Bobby Ted Ward.  She was also pre-deceased by her husband of 54 years, Charles V. Blue.  She is survived by her daughters, Deborah J. Blue (George Adley) of Sarasota, Florida, and Charlsie Shine, of Tampa, Florida, and granddaughters, Katherine Cooper Scott, and Taylor Shine Jones (Wesley), both of Tampa, Florida. Hilda was loved by all who knew her, and her warmth and personality, including her “Hollywood” smile will always be remembered.  She was actively involved in the family business, C.V. Blue Motors, Inc., during the 1950’s and 1960’s in charge of accounting while being a full-time mother and homemaker.
