Mr. Herman J. (Sparrel) Romito of Burlington Township passed away on January 29, 2008 at the age of 85. He was born in Camden, New Jersey.

He was a former employee of Hercules; served in the United States Navy during World War II; and belonged to the following organizations: the Neptune Hose Co. and the Relief Fire Co., the City of Burlington Exempt Firemen’s Association, the American Legion Post 194 and the Veteran’s of Foreign Wars Post 1817.

He is survived by his wife Rita, a very special grandniece Marina Morganti of Reading, PA, long time friend Karen Taylor of Cumming, GA, a sister Mary Thomas of Florence, NJ, a sister in law and her husband Mr. and Mrs. John Addiri of Steven Station, NJ, a special nephew and his wife Mr. and Mrs. John Lengyel, Jr., of Clarksville, OH, many more nieces and nephews, 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, and a son Mr. John Romito of Willingboro, NJ.
