Herman “Dooney†Mountcastle, 74, of 600 Main St. Apt. 302, Danville, VA. died Saturday May 8, 2010 at Danville Regional Medical Center Danville, VA. Herman was born October 4,1935 to the late Clara Stazer Mountcastle. He was married to Moody Mae Jones Mountcastle. Herman was of Baptist faith. Mr. Mountcastle spent most of his life working as a car salesman was a avid softball and baseball fan, an avid golfer and loved to dance. In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters Cynthia Robyn Dalton and husband Butch and Ann Marie Talley both of Danville, one sister Hilda Osterber of Danville, one grandchild Tayler Victoria Talley and his beloved cat “Miaâ€.
