Herbert Theodore Vaile

Herbert Theodore Vaile, age 88, of Quitman, Arkansas departed this life on July 30, 2014 at the home of his daughter in Quitman, Arkansas.
He was born October 16, 1925 in Atoka, Oklahoma to the late Albert and Erie Goff Vaile. He was preceded in death by his wife of seventeen years, Florence Tate Vaile; his first wife of forty years, Kathryn Reece Vaile; and his sister, Oleta Powell.
Mr. Vaile is survived by his children, three sons: Gerald (Marie) Vaile of New Bedford, Maine, Michael Vaile of Coulterville, California, and Jeff (Laurie) Vaile of Turlock, California; two daughters: Teresa (Don) Duncan of Quitman, Arkansas and Nancy Rupp of Turlock, California; twelve grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Vaile was a loving father and provided a firm foundation for his children to be an example of. He was a sixty year member of the IBEW Local 684. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and because of these hobbies he made several trips to Alaska, Idaho, and Montana. He enjoyed watching professional bull riding, saddle bronc, and bareback riding. His sunny outlook and stories of life will be missed by many relatives and friends throughout the United States.
