Herbert L. Rosenbaum, age 71, of New Middletown, a former Salem resident died at 3:35 a.m. Sunday, August 31, 2014 at the Masternick Memorial Health Care Center, New Middletown. He was born February 4, 1943 in Salem the son of the late Herbert L. Sr. and Eleanor (Harroff) Rosenbaum. Herbert retired in 1987 from Industrial Mining and previously worked at Land Mark Fools. He attended Crestview Schools, attended the Salem First Baptist Church and enjoyed trapping and hunting. His wife, Janice (Clapper) England Rosenbaum, whom he married June 27, 2002, preceded him in death on October 8, 2002. Survivors include a son, Herbert “Lee” (Stephanie) Fleischman of Leetonia; a stepdaughter, Robin Hott of Salem; a stepson, Kevin S. England of Aurora; and three grandchildren. A brother, Gary Rosenbaum also preceded him in death.
