Herbert C. Schober of Plymouth died peacefully on July 1st at Bay Path Nursing Home in Duxbury. He was the beloved husband of the late Ruth B. (Lyons) in Pasadena, CA. on March 3, 1925, son of the late Karl and Anna Maria Schober. . He entered the US Navy at a young age and continued to serve his country for over 20 years serving in both WWII and Korea retiring as a Storekeeper 1st class. He continued on with the US Navel Reserves. Over his life time he lived in New Jersey, CA. and MA. He went to work after he got out of the service for General Dynamics in Quincy for 20 years. He was a collector of stamps and enjoyed music from country/western to classical. He is survived by his sons Robert and his wife Gail of Plymouth and Richard and his wife Phyllis of NH. He was the father of the late John Schober and Ann Marie Gately. He leaves his grandchildren Kristin, Jennifer, Amanda, Tony, Dawn, and Jean. Great grandchildren Larissa, Colin, Michelle, Meagan , Emily, Molly, Mave and Kate and great great granddaughter Riley.
