Henry “Randy” Randant, 83, of Centralia, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at his home. He was born May 10, 1935 in Carlyle, son of Guy Randant and Goldie B. (Wells) Randant. He married Mary C. Draege on February 22, 1958 in Tamaroa and she survives in Centralia.
In addition to his wife of 61 years, Mary C. Randant of Centralia, he is also survived by three children: Randy R. Randant of Centralia, Rodney R. Randant and wife Lorrie of Centralia, and Robyn R. Davis and husband Tim of Centralia; seven grandchildren: Sharon Randant of Salem, Brittany Pollman and husband Allen of Breese, Christopher Hopkins and wife Morena of Centralia, Paige Hopkins of Centralia, Megan Davis of Breese, Devin Randant of Centralia and Blaine Randant of Centralia; nine great-grandchildren; a brother: David Randant and wife Gayle of Moorseville, NC; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Guy and Goldie Randant, son: Ricky Randant, grandson: Alex Randant, three brothers: Guy E. Randant, Roland Randant, and Elwood “Woody” Randant, two sisters: Betty Hostmeyer and Marilyn Hartman, mother-in-law: Stella M. Whitsell Draege and father-in-law: Ted M. Draege. Randy worked as a factory worker and farm hand for many years. He was a member of First General Baptist Church in Centralia. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friend.
