Henry R. Ramezzana,91, of Toms River, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday July 25, 2017 at Southern Ocean Medical Center in Manahawkin, NJ. Henry was born in Garfield, NJ and was raised in Union City, NJ. He graduated from St. Peter’s High School in Jersey City, NJ. Henry proudly served his country in the 91st Infantry Division in the US Army during WWII. He attended Pace University. Henry and his wife raised their family in Wood-Ridge, NJ from 1964 to 1990 before moving to Toms River, NJ. Henry was a member of the VFW and the Knights of Columbus.
He is a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church in Berkeley Twsp., NJ. After retiring from the US Postal Service in Union City, NJ in 1983, Henry was partners and co-owner of several businesses including Bay Natural Food in Toms River, NJ. He was an avid sports fan. Henry is predeceased by his parents Angelo and Sarah (Cervetto) Ramezzana and his sisters Angela Magnetti and Catherine LaRosa.
Surviving is his wife of 67 years Rae (Rolandi) Ramezzana of Toms River, NJ; his two sons Richard Ramezzana and his wife Cheryl of Cream Ridge, NJ and Thomas Ramezzana of Toms River, NJ; his two grandchildren Kristen and Richard and his brother Jack Ramezzana of Toms River, NJ.
