Henry “Hank” Edward Kobos, 91, of Middletown, passed away on Thursday, October 21st at his home. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, he was the son of the late Feliks and Mary (Prusik) Kobos. Henry had lived in Middletown for the past sixteen years, served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and was employed by The Hartford Special Machinery Company in Hartford for 43 years. He had a great sense of humor and was an avid sports fan who enjoyed watching the New York Yankees and the Boston Celtics. Henry is survived by two sons, Randall Kobos of Windsor and Joseph Kobos of Cromwell; his daughter, Janet Maratta of Cromwell; a daughter-in-law, Gail Kobos of Windsor; seven grandchildren, Daly, Alex, and Haley Kobos, Frank and Lindsey Maratta, Michael Kobos, Jr. and his wife, Jodi and Mia Kobos Cyr; and one great grandson, Dylan Kobos. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Michael Kobos.
