Henry Franklin (Frankie) Jones, age 70, of Green Forest, AR. went home to be with his Lord, Tuesday July 5, 2011. He entered this life on November 18, 1940, son of the late Henry Miles Jones and Elsie (Bailey) Jones. He grew up in Carrollton and later graduated from Alpena High School. On January 6, 1968 he married the love of his life, Muriel Smith and to this union three children were born. Frankie served his country in the Reserves and National Guard. He was employed as a Customer Service Representative for Firestone Tire and Rubber Company in a number of different states. He returned to Carroll County around 10 years ago to enjoy his retirement. He had a brilliant mind and had a gift for making all with whom he came in contact feel at ease. Frankie enjoyed working with computers, riding his 4-wheeler and dancing. He attended Ozark Community Church. He was very devoted to his family and friends. Though separated from loved ones, he has joined God, whom he depended on daily. He is survived by his wife, Muriel Jones of the family home, son, Marc Franklin Jones and wife Tiffany of Kent, Ohio, 2 daughters, Sherri Egeland and husband Lance of Camarillo, CA, Deenna Baer and husband Bill of Westville, OK, sisters; Almeda Daman and husband Doug of Harrison, Velma Wammack and husband David of Madera, CA, 12 grandchildren and 2 great- grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sisters; Henrietta and Jorheta Bramlett and an infant brother, Phillip.
