Henry (Hank) Roper, 85, of Grand Junction passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015.
He was born in Lonoke, AR, on October 21, 1930, to the late Dan and Bessie Raper. He joined the United States Air Force on December 31, 1946 and completed his duties with honors as a Corporal.
Hank was an avid hunter and fisher. These were his passion and provided him with much enjoyment, adventure, and kept the freezer full of food. Hank was known by all as a hard worker, with an almost perfect attendance record over his 25+ years of employment at Gates Rubber Company.
Henry is survived by two children: Ronda Roper Elesh of Chicago, Illinois, and Jonathan Biard of Seattle, Washington. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
