On September 25, 2016, formerly of Cherry Hill and Voorhees, NJ. Age 91 years.”It’s all about love.” Words of wisdom from a man who loved deeply and lived fully. Henry was born on his family’s farm in the Deer Park section of Delaware Township, NJ now known as Cherry Hill. He attended Haddonfield Memorial High School and like so many others of his generation, dropped out to help his widowed mother and younger brothers. When Uncle Sam called during World War II, Henry enlisted. Henry was proud that he passed the test to join the Air Force but due to a freak accident that injured his eyesight he did not reach the dream of being a Fly Boy. Henry proudly served in WWII as a flag man in the Navy on a supply ship.Henry came home to marry the love of his life, the late Dorothy Baldyga (McGrath). They quickly grew their family to six children: Jean Grzybowski (Joe) of Bangor, ME, Marie Ralbusky (the late Emil) of Collingswood, Robert (Hille) of Medford, James (Ann) of Voorhees, Diane Belz (Joe) of Medford and Thomas (Kathy) of Voorhees. Henry opened his home to his mother-in-law and her new husband bringing their household to 10.Henry built a successful and highly respected masonry construction business, Baldyga Construction Company and happily retired at age 54. He had a zest for life, a love for food, a spirit of fun, prayed diligently and valued family and hard work above all else. Henry and Dorothy traveled the world, loved to golf, ski, bowl, dance, garden, have Friday night dinner and movie dates and stayed connected to a wide circle of friends. Henry happily welcomed 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren into his life. He was affectionately known as Pops. Henry wanted to live to be 100! Now he is living forever in eternity.Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday 9 to 11 AM at St. Joseph the Worker Parish, St. Vincent Pallotti Church, 901 Hopkins Rd., Haddon Twp., NJ.
