Henry Arthur Hatfield, 92, of Bridgeport, formerly of Grafton, passed away, Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, with his loving family by his side. He was born December 20, 1928 in Grantsville, a son of the late Russell Wayne and Osie Jane (Turner) Hatfield.

Henry graduated from Calhoun County High School and Morris Harvey College. He served in the United States Army. Henry was employed and retired from Dominion Energy where he worked as an office manager and a foreman.  He was a member of the White Hall Church of Christ, Mountaineer Model A Club, American Antique Car Association, and Boy Scout Master for Troop 40 of Bridgeport. Henry enjoyed the outdoors while hunting, fishing, gardening. He liked repairing antique furniture and woodworking. He loved genealogy and compiled and collected information on the Hatfield family. Henry loved spending time and making memories with his family and friends.

Henry is survived by; one daughter, Brenda (Hatfield) McCauley and husband Keith, of Grafton; one son Brian Clark Hatfield and wife Arnetta (Wilson) of Grafton; three grandchildren, Sara McCauley, of Morgantown, Daniel McCauley, of Grafton and Jason Hatfield and wife Tiffany, of Grafton, two great grandchildren; Emory Hatfield and Everly Hatfield, three brothers; Wayne Hatfield of CA, Harold “Bill” Hatfield and wife Carolyn of Del, Jim Hatfield of OH, one sister Eunice McKinley of MD.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his; wife Marilyn Lee (Deem) Hatfield who he married May 28, 1955.
