Henrietta Privott (nee Gavin) of Willingboro passed away Monday January 24, 2022 at Virtua Hospital Willingboro at the age of 66.
Born in Camden, Henrietta was a longtime resident of Willingboro. She was married to the love of her life Calvin on October 4, 1975 at Baptist Temple Church in Camden. She worked for over 22 years as a unit secretary at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mt. Holly until her retirement. She attended Douglas College in New Brunswick to study music.
She played the saxophone in the concert and marching band when she attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Camden. She was also a big fan of Stevie Wonder and Bruno Mars. In her spare time she enjoyed gardening, sewing, cooking and watching movies. She was an excellent cook and especially enjoyed seafood and barbeque. Her greatest love was her family. She loved family gatherings and spending time with them during the holidays. She especially enjoyed playing X-Box, particularly Minecraft with her grandson, Lucas.
Henrietta was predeceased by her parents Henry and Loretta (nee Robinson) Gavin, her brother Bernard Gavin and her aunt Luellen Robinson-Kirby. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Calvin Privott, her children; Calvin “CJ” (Jasmine) Privott, Jr., Adam Privott, Cherie (Donnie Gilmore) Privott and April Privott, her grandchildren Kayla Privott and Lucas Privott, her sister Patricia Gavin-Onumonu, her nieces and nephews Ntianu Onumonu, Samson (Melissa McKnight) Onumonu, Alina Onumonu, Jayden Altine and Veronica Onumonu-Barton, two aunts Thelma Fredrick and Feeney Merle Robinson, as well as many cousins and other family members.
