Mr. Helmut “Hank “ E. Ruenhorst, age 68, of Goshen, formerly of Milford, beloved husband of 42 years to Patricia (Tanner) Ruenhorst, passed away suddenly on Sunday, November 9, 2008, as a result of a stroke, in Hartford Hospital. Son of the late Werner W. and Martha (Dritschler) Ruenhorst, he was born on October 12, 1940, in Speyer, Germany. He was the Transportation Manager for Northeast Utilities in Berlin, CT. He graduated from City College of New York with a bachelors of science in mechanical engineering. He received his master’s of science in mechanical engineering from the University of Bridgeport. He was also a licensed Professional Engineer. In addition to his wife, survivors include a son, Philip A. Ruenhorst and his wife Eileen of Shelton, a daughter, Christina Ruenhorst of Milford, two cherished grandchildren Kathleen and Alexander.
