Helene B. Dinarde, 93, of East Hampton and formerly of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away in Marlborough, on Saturday, March 4, 2017 with her beloved family by her side.

Born in Southern France on July 3, 1923 and emigrated to America after WWII.  She loved her native country of France and she also loved America.  Soon after moving to Connecticut, Helene helped her mother, and sister emigrate to the US as well.

Helene worked as a Maitre-Dame, resident caretaker and manager for several families including Jack Benny and the Kennedy, Dupont and Meyer families.

She retired to West Palm Beach, FL, and finally returned to Connecticut to live near her daughter, Stephanie and her husband Alfred Bowser.  Most importantly, Helene’s family will remember her as a devoted, loving mother and grandmother. She will be sadly missed, but always remembered by her daughter and son-in-law of East Hampton; grandchildren, Michael Miller of Brooklyn, NY and Chris Cermola of E. Hartford, and numerous extended family and friends.

She was predeceased by her sister, Wanda Boisseau.
