Helena (Tobiasz) Chmura, 88, of New Britain, beloved wife of the late Franciszek Chmura, died on Wednesday, May 27, 2015. She was born in Poland to the late Jan and Zofia (Niejadlik) Tobiasz. She was the last surviving daughter of 12 children. She was a resident of New Britain for the last 35 years and enjoyed returning to Poland for trips to visit family and friends. Helena was an excellent cook and seamstress and was always known to lend a helping hand. Family was her everything and she will remain in our hearts forever. Left to mourn her passing are her children: Marian Chmura and his wife, Stanislawa of Berlin, Stanislaw Chmura and his wife, Stanislawa of Kensington, Wieslaw Chmura and his wife, Eugenia of New Britain and Bozena Cieplinski and her husband, Ryszard of New Britain; 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
