Helen Schwoebel of Burlington died Sunday March 3, 2013 at the Lutheran Home in Moorestown at the age of 94. Mrs. Schwoebel was born in Roebling and was a longtime resident of Burlington. A parishioner of St. Paul’s R.C. Church in Burlington, she was also a member of the Women’s Club of Burlington, the Burlington Senior Citizen’s Club and the Opre-Larson VFW Post 8838 Auxiliary.
She was also very active for many years in the PTA for the City of Burlington Schools. Wife of the late Ralph Schwoebel, she was also predeceased by her parents George and Mary (nee Siladi) Oros and her siblings Mary Popetz, Florence Butala, Julia Brown, George Oros, Alexander Oros, Irene Bertothy and John Oros.
Helen is survived by her sons and daughters in law Gary and Betty Schwoebel and Ron and Peggy Schwoebel, her grandchildren; Jeffrey (Carol) Schwoebel, Trent (Leilani) Schwoebel, Roman Schwoebel, Mackenzie (Andrew) Mosley, Cameron (Stacey) Schwoebel, Alanna Schwoebel, John Simpson, Connie Merchant, Cindy Page, Michael Simpson, ten great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
