Helen Carol Roberts Hamilton, age 80, passed from this life and into the arms of her Savior Jesus Christ on February 28, 2017.
She was born in Fleming County on June 15, 1936, and continued her life on the family farm on the waters of Fox Creek near Hillsboro until she was called home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis Hamilton; her parents, Hobert Leon ‘Jack’ Roberts and Thelma Filson Roberts; her brother, Jackie Allen ‘Jack’ Roberts; her half-brother, Buddy Roberts; her son, Paul Hamilton; her granddaughter, Melanie Hamilton; her daughter and son-in-law, Willa Carol Hamilton Adkins and Douglas J. Adkins; and son-in-law, Stephen Michael Gantz.
Helen is survived by four children, Rebecca Lynn Proudfoot of Richmond, Leroy Hamilton of Hillsboro, Anita Joy Yonts (Mark) of Lexington, and Roger Hamilton (Carla Jones) of Morehead; her brother, Weldon Filson Roberts (Mila) and family of Cookeville, Tennessee; her sister, Brenda Roberts Mahaffey (Gene) and family of West Union, Ohio; and her sister-in-law, Nancy Roberts and son, Terry Roberts, of Dayton, Ohio.
