She worked at Ball Brothers, Shelter Globe, Flamingo, and other restaurants. Helen loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren very much. God blessed her with four children, Judy Messer, (Husband-Charles), Selma, Joan Carter, (husband-Jerry), Spring, Texas, and James Koger, (wife-Becky), Bowling Green, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jerry R.
Helen has ten grandchildren, Terri Harris, (husband-Rick), Cortney Harris, Jamie Messer, (wife-Tabatha), Tim Vest, (wife-Allison), Jeremy Carter, (wife-Amy), Justin Carter, Sherry Koger, Sherrill Koger, Monica Jackson, (husband-Tommy), Matt McMahan, and Mary Mihok, (husband-Robbie); great grandchildren, Jordon Holman, Courtney Holman, Levi Baugh, Hayden Vest, Kinley Mihok, Aiden Mihok, Kale Mihok, Eli Mihok, Tyler Jackson, Alexyss Jackson, Trystan Jackson, Dean McMahan, and another great grandson on the way in July.
