Helen R. Figg, 86, of Terre Haute, passed away October 17, 2016. She was born April 2, 1930 in Vigo County, to Fred Shorter and Sylvia Irene (Graham) Shorter. She retired from Quake Maid after 22 years of employment. She was a member of Moose Lodge #780 in Brazil, Indiana. Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband Virgil Leroy Figg; and daughter Myra Carice. She is survived by her granddaughters Jerry Lynn Beck and Cassandra Ann Beck, whom she was very proud of.
