Helen Polusnee Nicopoulos, age 87 of Crown Point, IN, formerly of Anderson, IN passed away in her sleep June 17, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Nick Polus. Devoted daughter of the late Gus and Paraskevi Bacoyanis Nicopoulos.
She was born May 10, 1925 in Chicago, IL. Loving mother of Dr. Philip G. Polus Julie of Crown Point, IN, Margaret KeithWalters of Ovilla, TX, Paul Polus of Lebanon, OH and Mark Tonya Polus of Daleville, IN; dear grandmother of Dr. Alexandra Polus, Christina Polus, ThomasPolus, Stacy Walters, Mia Walters, Nicholas Polus and Tyler Polus. She is survived by her sister Bess the late Peter Kondelis of Winnetka, IL, sister-in-law Jean Polus of Anderson, IN, and Lois Nicopoulos of Des Plaines, IL.
Helen was preceded in death by her brothers Nick, Harry Lois, Pete the late Jean and Paul the late Jean, and by her sister Kay the late Tom Melanouris. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. She devoted her life to her children and grandchildren and will be forever remembered in their hearts and prayers.
