Helen Elizabeth “Betsy” Ormond, age 72, of Trussville, passed away on September 16, 2017. She graduated from Woodlawn High School in 1962 and was a domestic engineer throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Ormond; her father, Mac Ellis; and her mother and step-father, Elizabeth Ellis Crawford and Bill Crawford. She is survived by her daughters, Kellee Lowe (David) and Tracy Ormond (Owen); her son, Lee “Chip” Ormond, Jr. (Robin); her sister, Bonnie Evans; her grandchildren, Ellen Ormond and Will Ormond; and her beloved dog, Jumper and Rebel the cat.
