Helen Burnes Meadows, 99, of Senoia, GA, formerly of Macon, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014. She was born August 30, 1915 in Macon, GA to the late James C. Burnes & Elizabeth Binion Burnes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, James I. Meadows, and her five siblings. Mrs. Meadows was a longtime member of Mable White Memorial Baptist Church in Macon and the First Baptist Church of Senoia. She worked at Belk-Matthews Department Store in Macon for over 20 years. She is survived by sons, Ernie (Hilda) Meadows of Senoia, Jimmy (Rhonda) Meadows of Macon; grandchildren, Patrick (Emily) Meadows, Jeff (Rachel) Meadows, Jim (Jeni) Meadows III; five great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
