Helen Marquis Couey, age 78, formerly of Rosedale, Mississippi, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 20, 2016 in Gulf Breeze, Florida. She is survived by her children, Marshelle Couey Hampton, Granville Marquis (Marq) Couey, and Lucy Couey Davis, eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Helen was a graduate of Rosedale High School, class of 1957. After raising her children, she worked for the Federal Aviation Administration in Anchorage, Alaska, then transferred to Oklahoma City with FAA to care for her father.
