Helen was born on September 19, 1929, in Chicago, IL to George C. and Catherine Myrtle Koltz. She was married to Wayne R. Flory in Naperville, IL on August 23, 1949. Their union was blessed with ten children. They moved to Atlanta in 1964, where Helen was a dedicated wife and homemaker, and active in the I.H.M.
