Passed away Friday morning September 14, 2018, in Northglenn, Colorado. Helen was born May 9, 1931, in Kalamazoo, MI a daughter of Lloyd and Mildred (Smith) Biscomb.
She had been a Kalamazoo area resident most of her life, graduating from Kalamazoo Central High School in 1949 and Kalamazoo College in 1953. She was employed intermittently with the Upjohn Company for 36 years, retiring in 1990. Helen enjoyed church activities, reading, classical music, gardening, Detroit Tigers baseball, crafts, and spending time with family. Helen was an exceptional caregiver.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John J. Nemire on February 19, 2002; and a brother, Lloyd Biscomb, Jr.
Helen is survived by 2 children, Karen Nemire of Thornton, CO, and James (Lawrie) Nemire of Allegan; 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandsons; 2 brothers, Donald and Gordon Biscomb; and several nieces and nephews.
