Helen Mason (nee Mannion) was 93 when she passed away Saturday, April 9th. Born and raised in New York City, Helen lived in there until settling in New Milford in 1954. It was in her new home of New Milford where Helen would be one of the founding members of the Church of the Ascension Parish.
Helen was the beloved wife of the late Edward M. Mason, the loving mother of James Joseph Mason and his wife Silda, Cecelia Casey, and Michael Edward Mason. She was also survived by her devoted sisters Peggy Reilly and Bridget Mannion, cherished grandchildren; James,Michele, Jaclyn, Bridget, and Uva, and her adored great-great grandchildren Hannah and Harper.
