Helen M. (Williams) Clary, 88, of Anderson, passed away on August 11, 2017 at the Edgewater Woods Nursing Home in Anderson, IN.
She was born on September 29, 1928 in Cobden, Illinois and resided most of her life in Anderson. She worked for Container Corporation Of America and retired after 30 years of service. She was a life-long volunteer of The Salvation Army. Helen loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Helen is survived by her loving daughter, Bobbette (Thomas) Snyder of Anderson; stepsons, Mike (Chris) Clary of Alexandria, and Tom Clary of Somerset, KY; brother, Raymond L. (Bonnie) Williams of Angel Fire, NM; grandchildren, Ingrid (Tony) Riley, Robb (Leny) Snyder, Matthew (Jussara) Snyder, and Rebekah Snyder Logan; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brockmyer, Zachary, and Chloie Riley, Lena and Emily Snyder, Thomas, Isabella, Alexandra and Sophia Snyder, Lauren Snyder and William Logan, Starla Niccum, and Justus Gabriel Ellis.
Also surviving is her niece, Melissa (Craig) Kleinlein, children, Sara and Daniel; nephew, Michael (Angie) Williams; several cousins, and special friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Austin L. Clary; son, Herbert W. (Bud) Ellis, Jr.; parents, Raymond A. and Audrey (Malaer) Williams; brother, Marian C. (Dorothy P.) Williams; sister, Ruth A. Ocegura; granddaughter, Claire Marie Ellis Niccum; and grandson, Christopher B. Ellis.
