Mrs. Helen M. Kettenhofen, age 93, passed away at her home on Monday evening, May 26, 2003. She was a very devoted and loving mother and grandmother and was known to be an excellent cook.
Mrs. Kettenhofen was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sophia Goehl and her husband Arthur in 1979 and her granddaughter Susan Dannenberg in 1955.
Helen was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 13, 1909. As a child, her family moved to Troy, where she has resided since. She attended Troy Schools and was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church.
She is survived by three daughters, Sharon (James) Jackson of Troy; Dolores (Harold) Dannenberg of Edwardsville; Joyce Kettenhofen of Maryland Heights, Missouri and one son, Kenneth Kettenhofen of College Park, Maryland. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Robert (Bonnie )Dannenberg, William Dannenberg, James (Lorraine) Dannenberg, Daniel (Kelly) Sheehan, Patrick (Erika) Sheehan, Lori (James) Hook and David Jackson; twelve great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.
