She was very active in the Oaks at Center of the Woods. Helen is survived by her sons, William F. (Andrea) Balas, Gary E. Balas; grandchildren, Sarah (George) Balas Johnson, Emily (Thomas) Balas Christy, Zachary W. (Heather) Balas, Garrett Balas, Richelle (Robert) DeLeonardo; great-grandchildren, Jonah T. and Benjamin W. Christy, Andrew J., Ethan W. and Owen Z. Balas, and Carley R. and Ryan DeLeonardo. She is preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
