She was a housewife and mother, she also had a beauty shop on 8th St. here in Anderson She was a graduate of Apex Beauty School in Anderson She was a member of 1st Presbyterian Church in Anderson, former member of Anderson Country Club, El Conquistidor Country Club in Sarasota, FL, Lady Elks BPOE #209 and Lady Shriners She is survived by her husband, William B. Hobbs, Sr., whom she married May 5, 1944, in Cincinnati, Ohio; a son, William B. Hobbs, Jr.& wife, Patricia of Anderson; a daughter, Lana Sue Jacobs & husband, John of Cincinnati, OH; 2 sisters, Pauline Wittkamper of Greensburg, IN and Ruby Carr of Indianapolis; a brother, Charles Ketchum & wife, Donna of Greensburg, IN; grandchildren, Elizabeth Anne Hobbs, Kelley Breeden & husband, Ron, Matthew Jacobs and Bradley Jacobs; great grandsons; Eric, Evan and Ethan Breeden; along with several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her her parents, Frank & Eliza Reed Ketchum; a brother, Frank Ketchum and two sisters, Ruth York and Jemima Moss.
