Helen Isabelle Herbest, age 86, of Tarpon Springs, Florida, passed away in Blacklick, Ohio, on June 2, 2017. Helen was born May 7, 1931 to the late George “Jack” and Freedom (Hummell) Sleeper in Bangor, Maine. She was a loving and caring mum, grammie and great grammie, who will be greatly missed. Helen was a faithful member of Bible Baptist Church in Port Richey, Florida, and a faithful servant of the Lord. She is survived by her partner of twenty years, Mario St Pierre; children, Margaret (Ernie) Davis of Shoals, IN, George (Mary) Herbest Jr. of Peru, NY, Michael Herbest, of New Hartford, CT, Tammy Gabriel of Groveport, OH; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren. Helen is preceded in death by her husband, George Herbest Sr.; and sister, Edith Poole.
