Our sweet Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, Irene Reed Murray, died on February 3, 2022 at age 95. Irene was born on July 17, 1927 in Clearfield Utah to George Hawley and Irene Hatch Reed. She was a graduate of Davis High School and worked at the Defense Depot in Ogden Utah. Irene was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She married Arthur Leon Murray Jr. in Elko Nevada and later had their marriage solemnized in the Ogden LDS Temple. Mom and Dad lived many wonderful years in Eden, Utah on their farm and had many cherished friends from their years in the Ogden Valley. They later relocated in Riverdale Utah. Mom will always be known for her skills as a gardener.
We would like to offer sincere gratitude to many Hospice, Visiting Angel and Meals on Wheels friends who helped us care for Mom over the past few years. They assisted us in allowing Mom to live in her home independently until she was 92. Thanks also to the care givers at Sunridge Assisted Living in Roy for the care given the past several months of her life.
