Helen Irene Amos, age 88, of Clarksburg passed away Friday, April 15, 2016 at Clarksburg Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born September 3, 1927 in Bakerton, WV; the daughter of the late Grover Mills and Mary (Long) Mills.
Helen is survived by a son, Charles Russell Amos and his wife, Pam (Snyder) Amos of Clarksburg, WV.
In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. Amos II who died on April 17, 1971; a daughter, Mary Ruth Amos who died on August 14, 2014; two grandchildren, Todd Russell Amos who died on July 26, 2013 and Tommy Ryan Amos who died on May 22, 1987; three brothers, Luther Mills, Russell Mills and Roy Mills; and a sister, Hilda Grimes.
Helen was a home seamstress and loved to make crafts.
