Helen Horvath, 92, of South Bend, Indiana passed away at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 22 2022, in Acres of Indiana. Helen was born on August 4, 1930 in Sopron, Hungary to Joseph and Anna (Gomori) Molnar. She came from Hungary to South Bend on Christmas Eve 1956. Helen was employed as a housekeeper at the University of Notre Dame for 15 years. On November 9, 1947, in Hungary, she married Carl Horvath who preceded her in death on March 6, 1987. She was also preceded in death by her son Carl J. Horvath, Jr. Helen is survived by three daughters, Helen (Larry) Cenceliewski of South Bend, Indiana, Livia (Gary) Dawson of Pueblo, Colorado and Ethel (Bill) LaVille of Niles, Michigan; one son, Julius (Judy) Horvath of South Bend, Indiana; her daughter-in-law, Lori Horvath; 12 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; five great great-grandchildren; and one sister, Ethel Kovacs of South Bend, Indiana.
