Helen was independent, generous, caring, and funny. She spent most of her adult life working at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff Arizona. Helen was very involved with Soroptomist International of Flagstaff and other charities.
Her charity work touched many lives. Helen is survived by her sister, Eugenia Horstman, nieces Lara Connally and Diana Lelle of Flagstaff AZ and niece Erica Lelle and her children of North Carolina.
