Helen Louise Haymond Hadler, age 88, died peacefully with her husband by her side in her home at the Estates at Carpenters in Lakeland, Florida on Saturday, August 8, 2015. Helen lived a long and satisfying life, 63 years of it with her husband, Rev. Lyle M. Hadler.

Helen was born in Tampa, Florida on November 11, 1926, to Claud Grant Haymond and Lulu Sedona Cottrill Haymond. She was the youngest of six siblings who all preceded her in death.

She graduated from Bixby Business School and Eastern Bible Institute, now named University of Valley Forge in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. In 1969 Helen graduated from Southeastern Bible College and taught special needs high school students for the next twenty years, most recently at Lake Gibson High School in Lakeland, FL.

Helen was a servant leader with a heart for Missions and Prayer.

Helen and Lyle have two daughters, Sonja Louise Hadler Johnson, and Paula Suzanne Hadler Mills. Sonja is an artist and teacher. Paula co-owns a marine a/c and refrigeration business.

Helen is survived by her loving husband, Lyle Milton Hadler, devoted children Sonja Johnson, Paula (Gary) Mills, and T.L. Johnson; grandchildren Tasha Johnson (Brett) Di Piero, Dustin (Lei) Johnson, Tara Mills, Robert Mills, and Nicholas Mills; great grandchildren Maykailah DuPorte (Tara), Zane Chisholm (Tasha), and Abrielle Mills (Robert).

The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers, and support from family and so many friends, including Cornerstone Hospice and The Villa/Manor team at the Estates at Carpenters.
