Helen G. Detthof Helen G. Detthof, 90, of Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2010, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg. She was the wife of the late John R. Detthof, who died in June. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Augusta Grote. She was a graduate of Liberty High School and Moravian College. Helen briefly worked at Bethlehem Plumbing Supply prior to her marriage. She was a member of Rosemont Lutheran Church of Bethlehem, a board member of Alumni Association of Moravian College and an active member of the Womens Auxiliary of Muhlenberg Hospital where she served as treasurer for 40 years. Survivors: sister, Ruth Moulton of Portsmouth, NH; nieces, Ellen Czachor and Gail O’Connor; nephew, Robert Einsel.
