Helen E. Hinton, 89, of Alliance, formerly of Beloit, died 1:12 a.m. Tuesday, September 23, 2014 at the Mercy Medical Center in Canton, Ohio. She was born July 11, 1925 in Goshen Township, a daughter to the late George and Rebecca (Ewing) Weingart. Helen worked at the former Farmers National Bank, as a teller and bookkeeper for 30 years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Salem. She enjoyed gardening and cooking, she also loved animals, especially dogs and cats. Her husband Robert H. Hinton, preceded in death on Sept. 17th 2007, they were married Sept. 28th 1947. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and 5 brothers, Orlan, Oscar, Orville “Bill”, Olin, and George Jr. Weingart.
