Helen Dorolese Whetzel age 83 passed away Wednesday March 21, 2012 at her residence in Moreland GA after a long bout with Alzheimer’s. She was born in Akron OH to the late Wilson Gooden and Juanita Phillips. Mrs. Helen Whetzel retired as head cashier from Sparkle Market and lived in Georgia the last 5 years.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Whetzel and her son John Gregory Whetzel. She is survived by her daughters Sandra Lee Geib of Ohio, Diana Lynn Bender who she lived with for the last five years and her son David Paul Whetzel of Belgium. She is also survived by her grandsons Christopher Bender, Cory Bender, granddaughter Molly Whetzel and her great grandsons Braydon Bender, and Wyatt Bender.
