Helen E. Costello, age 85 died Saturday January 19, 2013 at the Virtua Health and Rehabilitation Center in Lumberton. Mrs. Costello was born in Beverly and grew up in Riverside. She was a member St. Peter’s R.C. Church and the Catholic Daughters. She also attended St. Peter’s School in Riverside. She moved to Burlington and married Pasquale (Pat) Costello.

She was a member of St. Paul’s R.C. Church and was a room mother and Past President of the St. Paul’s School PTA. She was also a Past President of the Young at Heart Club and a member of the Women’s Club of Burlington. She was employed as a travel agent for the Triple Town Travel Agency, Fisher World Travel and Jolie Travel. She retired as a bookkeeper for CBL Trucking in Delanco. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling, floral arranging, interior decorating, ceramics, cooking and baking. It was a special joy to her to have friends and family at her dining room table.

Helen was known for her warm smile and personality, for always being sharply dressed and for being a real people person. She was predeceased by her husband Pasquale (Pat) Costello, her daughter Lisa Montalto, her mother Helen Reynolds and her sisters Elizabeth Santaniello and Jane Mumford. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law Pat and Carol Costello of Winthrop, MA and David and Diane Costello of Beverly, NJ, her grandchildren Kristen (Michael) O’Connor, Keith Costello and Stephanie Costello of Winthrop, MA, Amy Costello, Katherine Costello and Julie Costello of Beverly, and her great granddaughter Jaylyn of Beverly.

She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and the extended Costello family.
