Helen Cohen (nee Farrell), age 95, died Saturday December 20, 2008 at the Cinnaminson Center in Cinnaminson. Mrs. Cohen was born in Burlington to the late William and Elizabeth (nee Doyle) Farrell. She lived for many years in Camden before returning to Burlington. She had worked in the silk mill in Burlington, Cooper Hospital in Camden and lastly for Woodrow Wilson High School, also in Camden. She was a parishioner of St. Paul’s RC Church in Burlington and a member of their Altar Rosary Society, the Catholic Daughters, the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the Good Cheer Club, the Young at Heart Club, the Claddagh Club of South Jersey and the Golden Age Club of Cramer Hill.

She was a former parishioner of the St. Anthony of Padua RC Church in the Cramer Hill section of Camden and the Gesu Parish in Philadelphia. In her spare time she loved gardening. Wife of the late Frank Cohen, she is survived by her daughter and son in law Elizabeth and Ray Thrash of Burlington, her grandchildren and their spouses, Patricia and Michael Ferrari of Metuchen and Shaun and Mary Anne Thornton of Manuta. She is also survived by her sister Anna Haines and her sister in law Betty Farrell, both of Burlington as well as several nieces and nephews.
