Helen A. Birk, 91, of Bethlehem Twp., passed away on Saturday, November 15, 2014, while at Old Orchard Health Care Center in Easton. She was the wife of the late Wallace O. Birk, who died in 2002. Born in Bethlehem, she was one of 10 children of the late Wilmer and Mary (Schreiner) Schmoyer. Helen worked for Just Born Candies, Nazareth Knitting Mills, and Specialty Cleaning of Allentown, before retiring in 1985. Survivors: son, Robert W. Birk of Bethlehem Twp.; sisters, Mabel Graf of Lower Nazareth Twp., Esther Frantz of Nazareth, Nancy Lamb of Palm Bay, Fla.; brother, Daniel Schmoyer of Upper Nazareth Twp.
