Hedwig “June” Niemiec, 96, of Leisure Knolls, Manchester, NJ passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at Concord Health Care and Rehabilitation, Lakewood, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ, she lived in Lavallette, NJ before moving to Manchester 10 years ago. June was a parishioner of the Parish of St. Pio, Lavallette, NJ and was a member of the church’s Rosary Altar Society. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters of Lavallette and Leisure Knoll, the Polish University Club and the United Federation of Dolls Club.
She was predeceased by her husband Peter Niemiec in 1987, 2 brothers Edward Mrozek & his wife Betty, Raymond Mroczek, and her nephew Arthur Mrozek. June is survived by her son and daughter in law John & Pam Niemiec of Howell, NJ, a grandson John David Niemiec, 2 nephews Robert Mrozek of Normandy Beach, NJ, and Karl Mroczek & his wife Marilyn of FL, a niece Diane Costic & her husband Michael of Kinnelon, NJ, a sister in law Sigrid Mroczek of Pompton Plains, NJ and many grandnieces & nephews and great grandnieces & nephews.
