Jadwiga “Heddy” (Piascik) Lempicki, 69, of Bristol, passed away unexpectedly at home on Saturday, January 1, 2022. Born in Dobrylas, Poland, daughter of the late Waclaw and Eugenia (Sutkowska) Piascik, she and her family came to the United States to Jefferson, Massachusetts in 1966. She lived and worked in New York City for many years and eventually moved to New Britain, Connecticut where she made her home for many years to come. Jadwiga was truly one of a kind – full of life, love and generosity. Her selfless, caring and authentic nature were her most admirable traits. She enjoyed spending time gardening and had a love for the outdoors. Above all, her family was her heart and she would do anything for them. Her three nieces were her munchkins and she loved them very much. She leaves behind her husband, Wieslaw Lempicki, her loving sister, Mary and brother-in-law, Marian Piascik of New Britain. She also leaves behind three nieces who were like children to her, Lilia and husband Michael Fantozzi of Plainville, Monika and husband Brian Fuller of Cheshire, and Joanna and her husband Justin Vincenzi, including two nephews, Andrzej and Mark Piascik of Florida and her sister-in-law, Christine Piascik also of Florida. Her pride and joy were her littlest grandnieces and grandnephews: Matthew and Julianna Fantozzi, and Adrian, Sienna and Ava Fuller. She was predeceased by her brother, Mieczylaw Piascik and nephew, Krszystof Piascik.
